Best way to prepare for an interview
Updated: Aug 27, 2019
Believe it or not, 70% of interviewees do not research the company they interview with. We're not talking about going to a company website, looking at a few products and services, then clicking the About Us section. That's easy, anyone can do that.
Instead, there is a lot more you can do to really show a company you have a genuine interest in working there and have put your best foot forward in gaining that opportunity. Here is a short list of a few things you can do:
> Research the type of industry the company falls under
> Research the role specific to the company's industry
> Provide examples of technology solutions you researched
> Understand your role based upon the company size
A well prepared individual with less than perfect credentials can blow away the rest of the candidates. Never forget the personal touch. Let them know who you are and what you bring to the table. There is more to you than your resume, so don't just tell them, show them!
